Our Experience Highlight of the month is jewelry shopping in St. Thomas. A literal jewel of the Caribbean this island is not only breathtakingly beautiful with its tree covered hills, red roofed shops and homes, turquoise waters and white sand beaches it is also a goldmine of fabulous jewelry shopping. Many mainland US jewelry stores purchase their merchandise directly from this island. Shopping here is like cutting out the middleman and going strait to the source. Precious gems (especially diamonds) can be found for about 1/3 the price found in the States.(Often your saving can pay for your trip!) Shopping from store to store is a great experience. The thrill of the hunt! In the end you not only have the joy of finding a great piece, you walked around a great little town with stone alleyways, friendly people and great weather. Plus, what better way to wait for your new gem to be ready to wear then 
laying out on the beach!
